Cool Beans in the Big Smoke!

Exciting news folks! Cool Beans is coming to the big smoke! For those who don’t know, ‘the big smoke’ is slang for LDN. And ‘LDN’ is short for ‘LONDON’. We’re coming to London basically, Hackney to be exact.

Yes indeed, after many years putting on events in Sheffield, running festival stages and the occasional party in Bristol – we’re extremely excited to announce a brand new monthly London residency!

It’s all taking place at Hackney Wick’s Number 90 Bar & Kitchen, entry is free and we’ve got a world-class DJ/AV artist booked for the first one…

DJ CHEEBA (AV SHOW)

Hailed as one of the most progressive audio visual artists around today, DJ Cheeba has found an audience world wide with his unique style of turntablism and video manipulation.

You may know him from his Lo-Fi Funky Space Quest & Return To The Boom Bap projects, as well of course his massively popular Caught In The Middle Of A 3 Way Mix which he created alongisde DJ Moneyshot and DJ Food.

Best experienced live, Cheeba has performed worldwide with tours spanning UK, Europe, Australia and Canada as well as being a regular on the UK and European festival circuit. A truly versatile performer, he’ll be smashing out an AV/DJ set for the Cool Beans at Number 90 Launch Party and frankly – we cannot wait!

The man has tons of stuff online for you to sink your teeth into, here are a few of our favourites…

“Genius… Great work!!” — Z-Trip
“Cheeba is one super-creative dude!” — DJ Yoda
